BSP MLA wanted by police casts vote in UP Council polls

In a humiliation for Uttar Pradesh police, a BSP MLA, who is wanted by the police for his alleged involvement in the murder of an engineer, today cast his vote for Legislative Council polls.
Vijay Kumar, BSP MLA from Bansgaon seat in Gorakhpur cast his vote at Tilak Hall this afternoon even as Barabanki police is looking out for him in connection with murder of an engineer with National Informatics Centre (NIC).
When asked about this, IG, Public Grievance, A M Jain said, "Barabanki police is probing the matter. The investigation is on." He, however, declined to comment on the MLA casting his vote in the Assembly premises.
