The bus, with 51 people on board, veered off the highway and fell into a 20-meter roadside ditch near the Zhijiang city in Hubei, local traffic authorities said.
The injured were admitted to local hospitals.
The bus traveled from Wenzhou city in the east, to Mianyang City in the southwest, about 2,000 kms away, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
