Capital ready to welcome 2015 AFC Annual Awards

After a year of scintillating action on the field, as well as tremendous endeavour and improvement off it, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Annual Awards 2015 will celebrate the best of Asian football on November 29 in the Capital.
The world class international gala event will light up Delhi's magnificent Kingdom of Dreams on Sunday evening and honour the stars of Asian football.
AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa said: "The AFC is proud to bring the biggest Asian football gala event to India. The AFC Annual Awards celebrates the best in Asian football, and India, with its impressive mix of cultures and colourful traditions, is a perfect setting for the event."

President of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Praful Patel said: "The All India Football Federation is honoured that the AFC has chosen India as the host for this year's Annual Awards. India has a rapidly growing football base and we look forward to welcoming Asian football's finest to Delhi."
At its Annual Awards, the AFC recognises the continent's brightest stars and exceptional Member Associations in various categories.
The award categories are:

Diamond of Asia Award
Member Association of the Year
Dream Asia Award
National Team of the Year (men and women)
Coach of the Year (men's team, women's team)

Player of the Year.
