Cardamom futures slide 0.18 pc on profit booking

Cardamom prices eased 0.18 per cent to Rs 1,188.10 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits amid fall in demand at spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in October month fell by Rs 2.20, or 0.18 per cent to Rs 1,188.10 per kg in business turnover of 2 lot.
The spice for delivery in November traded lower by Rs 1.20, or 0.10 per cent to Rs 1,170 per kg in single lot.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by participants, fall in demand at existing levels in physical market against sufficient stocks position mainly weighed on cardamom prices at futures trade.
