Ceat Q2 net up 30% at Rs 107 cr

Tyre maker Ceat today posted 30.41 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 107.4 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 82.35 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company however declined to Rs 1,399.99 crore for the second quarter as compared to Rs 1,425.76 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Ceat Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
Shares of Ceat today closed at Rs 1,177.75 apiece on the BSE, down 0.60 per cent from the previous close.
