"The central government has earmarked Rs 1208.86 crore for MGNREGA budget for 2012-13. But in their official website it is shown that only Rs 38.60 crore has been sanctioned," state minister for rural development Jitendra Chowdhury said.

"Even that money was not made available to the state and because of that work could not be started even after one and half months have passed," he claimed.
