The 20-year-old actor worked with comedian on the film "I Love You, Daddy", which was dropped after the allegations of misconduct surfaced against him.
Moretz said she chooses to look forward with hope rather than reflecting on her experience with him.
"I could single in and talk about my experience, but I think it's more important to talk about the entire movement as a whole," Moretz told Variety on the sidelines of Sundance Film Festival.
Moretz, who is associated with 'Me Too' and 'Time's Up' movements, said the progress has already being made just by having these conversations at major film festivals.
"I think it's just nice, the communication, and the fact that you asked this question at Sundance in a video suite, this never would have happened two years ago," she said.
The accusations against C K emerged after The New York Times published a piece alleging that he had repeatedly asked women he encountered in work- related environments to watch him masturbate.
"These stories are true," C K had said in a statement after the story was released.
