"The efforts being made by the state government for inviting industrial investment are totally directionless and visionless and the state is suffering from policy paralysis as far as industrialisation is concerned," the Congress leader said, ahead of the Global Investors Summit that will start in Indore tomorrow.
The Congress leader said despite visiting several countries and holding investors meets, the BJP government headed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was unable to change the industrialisation situation in the state.
According to government estimate, 54 new industries were being set up everyday in the state, Ajay said, while questioning the figures.
Because of frequent changes in the policy on industrial investment, confusion prevailed among the investors, he added.
