The three hour gala special hosted by the 35-year-old actor will air on September 27 and will feature a lot of guest appearances from 'Saturday Night Live' alumni. Ariana Grande will be the musical guest, reported Contactmusic.
Also hosting during the 40th season will be two more 'SNL' alumni, comedienne Sarah Silverman and funnyman Bill Murray and a replacement announcer for the show is also expected as Don Pardo, the man who had been in the job for every season baring one, passed away in August aged 96.
