The 33-year-old singer took to Twitter to describe her current situation as "blissful" as she looks ahead to welcoming her second child.
"So blissful in taking this time for creating all things blossoming new on the horizon... Album, baby and beautiful music to come," she tweeted.
Her new album will serve as the follow-up to Lotus, which peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 200.
Aguilera confirmed last month that she is expecting a baby girl with fiance Matt Rutler, sharing her news with fans at a show in Kuala Lumpur.
