Clash over petty dispute, one axed to death

One person was axed to death over some minor dispute in south Kashmir's Shopian district, police said today.
Fazuludin Khantana was attacked allegedly by Mohammad Aslam Chachi with an axe following a scuffle over some petty issue in Sokha Sarai area, 65-km from here, a police spokesman said.
Fazuludin died instantly, he said adding Chachi, hailing from Rajouri, fled after committing the crime.
A manhunt had been launched to nab him, the spokesman said.
