Cong wants to divert attention by raising Vanzara, Prajapati

Accusing Congress of bringing out 'cockroaches of conspiracy' to divert attention, BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said his party will not allow the focus to shift from "real issues".
He also said, as to Narendra Modi's prime ministerial candidature, that "writing was on the wall".
"Neither the BJP nor Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi are surprised by the recent events. This is on expected lines," Naqvi said, when asked about the resignation letter of suspended IPS officer D G Vanzara, and sting operation targeting two BJP MPs in Tulsi Prajapati encounter case.
"Congress is trying to bring out cockroaches of conspiracy from the well of corruption. They are trying to divert attention from real issues," he said.

"The real issues are corruption and scams, the free fall of rupee against dollars, unemployment, internal and external security. People are tired of mis-governance," he said.
"They (Congress) have realised that they are going to go after the next elections, and to stem that decline they are trying to fish out such things," Naqvi said, alleging that Congress was behind both the resignation letter issue and the sting operation.
"Within an hour after the letter appeared, Congress leaders at the Centre started demanding Modi's resignation and Gujarat leaders here called for a bandh. It is clear that from where these things originated," Naqvi said.

"We will not allow the discourse to be changed. We have decided to launch a nationwide campaign to highlight the real issues," Naqvi, a member of BJP's 2014 election campaign committee, said.
