Juvenile among two held for murder

A youth has been arrested and his juvenile accomplice detained for allegedly murdering a man, police said today.
The arrested has been identified as Rohit (21) alias Mohit alias Lamba.
According to police, a 20-year-old youth's dead body was found on Monday in Dharampura area by police. The deceased was later identified as Yudhvir.
"A case of murder was registered and during investigation it was found that Yudhvir was last seen with Rohit. On sustained interrogation, Rohit broke down and said Yudhvir was a history-sheeter and used to hurl threats to him over trivial issues. Finding no alternative, he decided to eliminate him," a police official said.

Rohit along with juvenile hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Yudhvir. On Sunday evening, the two invited Yudhvir and had drinks with him, police said.
"Soon, Yudhvir picked up a quarrel and attacked Rohit with a bottle following which he and his accomplice killed him by attacking him with brick and knife," the official said.
