Congress should end stalemate in Parliament: Raj BJP

Taking a strong view of the stalemate in Parliament due to the Congress protest over Lalitgate and Vyapam scam, Rajasthan BJP today accused the party of "having no work except to create ruckus" and urged it to end the logjam.
"Congress has got no other work as it was neglected by the mandate in states and at the Centre, and without any specific issue it is creating deadlock in Parliament", state BJP President Ashok Parnami said at a press conference.
Speaking after the party's state executive meeting here addressed by Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje, Parmani, however, said that the Congress protest was not discussed at the meeting.

Congress as a major opposition has been demanding for the resignation of Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj as well as the Rajasthan CM in Lalitgate controversy, and MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Vyapam scam.
The party has not allowed Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to function since the first day of the monsoon session on July 21, urging the Centre to act against the erring ministers.
Parnami was also asked by the reporters about the constant movement of senior BJP MLAs Ghanshyam Tiwari, Narapat Singh Rajvi and Home Minister G C Kataria, who were seen coming out and going inside the meeting erratically.

"We are one. No dissension anywhere by no one. If some one (MLA/Minister) wants to take a break for a cup of tea, it is not news," he said.
Talking further about the party executive meeting, the BJP leader said it was decided that every MLA will enrol 10,000 sisters under PM's health insurance scheme, by paying Rs 12 for each one as a premium in the state.
Two resolutions; a political and an economic one hailing the Centre and the state governments' achievements and plans were also passed in the meeting, Parnami said.
