Elsewhere, brass and select aluminium rebounded on good demand from consumer industries.
The industrial metals regained at the LME, after plunging to multi-year lows in the previous session but concerns about China's economic slowdown could cap gains as investors await a fresh batch of data.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar dropped by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 482, Rs 476 and Rs 510 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 487, Rs 481 and Rs 515.
Copper utensils scrap and copper sheet cutting also looked down by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 453 and Rs 469 from Rs 456 and Rs 472, respectively.
However, brass sheet cutting climbed by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 361 from Rs 358.
Brass utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 351 from Rs 349.
Aluminium ingots inched-up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 152.
