Marketmen said trimming of positions by speculators tracking subdued spot market, mainly brought down the cottonseed oilcake prices at futures trade.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for delivery in May tumbled down by Rs 23 or 1.17 per cent to Rs 1,935 per quintal, showing an open interest of 33,300 lots.
In a similar manners, delivery in June too slipped by Rs 18 or 0.90 per cent to Rs 1,991 per quintal, with the business turnover of 98,110 open lots.
