Led by Sham Prasad Kesar, Regional secretary, over 200 to 300 activists sat on dharna and held protest demonstrations against the Central and state government over corruption at high levels at the State and Centre and demanded the resignation of those involved in corruption and nepotism.
Kesar said that all the claims made by the BJP and the prime minister that during the course of this one year rule the NDA government has offered a corruption free administration are being thoroughly exposed by the day.
"No improvement" has been seen in water and power supply and it has "worsened" after the coalition took over, the state government has "failed" on all fronts, he alleged.
He also demanded to pay adequate compensation to the people whose houses, land and standing crops were damaged in recent floods and cloudburst.
