Speaking to reporters after taking charge as the 13th Vice Chancellor, Dr Letha said her dream was to raise CUSAT to the "the level of a centre of excellence by the convergence of science and technology".
Dr Letha promised complete dedication from her part for the realisation of the dream.
Enhancing the research capabilities of the University and thereby creating a resource base for researchers from far and wide will be part of her agenda, she said, adding, her strategy includes reviving the various research centres in the varsity to create centres of excellence and installing a fool-proof system for garnering maximum grants from central agencies.
