D Raja donates Rs 1 cr for relief work in TN

CPI leader D Raja has contributed Rs 1 crore out of his MPLAD fund for relief and rehabilitation work in rain-ravaged Tamil Nadu.
Raja, a Rajya Sabha member from the state, has written a letter to Chairman Hamid Ansari giving his consent to contribute the amount.
In the letter, he said the state has been devastated by the recent heavy rains and floods, which has been declared a calamity of severe nature by the government.
