To solve the perennial water problem of the famous tourist town of Darjeeling, the Darjeeling Municipality will sign a MoA with UIDSSMT and SUDA to revamp the drinking water distribution of the town.
Darjeeling Municipality will sign a Memorandum of Agreement with Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme for Small and Medium Towns (UIDSSMT) and State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) to revamp the drinking water distribution in Darjeeling Town for Rs 169.2 crore, said Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA) Chief Executive Bimal Gurung said in a facebook post today.
