The maximum temperatures dropped to 32.2 degree Celsius in Una, which was hottest in the region while Sundernagar, Bhuntart, Dharamsala and Nahan recorded a highs of 31.9 degree, 31.0 degree, 30.8 degree and 29.2 degree respectively, a fall of two to three degrees since yesterday.
However, the day temperatures rose marginally from 22.4 degree C to 24.9 degree C in state capital Shimla inspite of 10.5 mm of rains.
Dharamsala was wettest in the state with 68.8 mm rains while Guler and Baldwara recorded 62 mm and 55 mm of rains, followed by Arki 49 mm, Gaggal 43 mm, Kasol 39 mm, Rajgarh 38 mm, Nagrota Suriyan 28 mm, Jubbar Hatti 26 mm, Nurpur 25 mm, and Ghamrooe 23 mm.
The local MeT office has forecast widespread rains in the region with heavy to very heavy rains at some places.
