Chowdhary, who himself visited the hospital and sought detailed information from the doctors and the staff, said that the deaths of the patients have no connection with snag in the supply of the oxygen.
However, to ensure that such incidents are not repeated, he ordered an enquiry into disruption of oxygen supply and appointed Dr K P Chowdhary, Vice Principal of the college as enquiry officer.
However, ACS said that,"Itis confirmed that there was disruption of the supply of the oxygen and I have asked vice-principal to hold an inquiry so that such a thing did not happen later."
Deputy medical superintendent IGMC, Rahul Rao also said that all the three deaths occurred yesterday were natural deaths and had nothing do with failure of oxygen supply and added that two deaths occurred before the failure of oxygen supply.
