The selected fellows and associate fellows, under the age of 35 years, will be attached to government departments for a maximum period of two years, an official statement said.
"A due process has been set-up for reviewing the applications, shortlisting fellows and interviews. The programme will be managed by a nodal officer appointed by the Delhi government and several other external partners," it said.
All of them will work directly under the supervision of senior officers of the government and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The area of focus would be transport, slum development, social programmes convergence, environment protection, pollution control, public health sector and public service delivery among others.
The programme is in line with the Centre's Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellowship, which was launched by the previous UPA government, it added.
