As many as 49 trains mostly Delhi-bound were affected due to the foggy weather in the northern region.
While the premier service Rajdhani for Kolkata, Patna and Bhubaneswar were running late by several hours, Kanpur Shatabdi also got delayed because of the fog.
Lichchavi Express and Farakka Express were running 15 hours late while Brahmputra Mail and Magadh Express were behind the schedule for 13 hours and 10 hours respectively, according to Northern Railway data.
