Diwali celebrated with traditional fervour in Raj

Diwali was today celebratedwith traditional fervour and gaiety across Rajasthan.
People exchanged greetings and sweets and children were seen bursting firecrackers.
Markets in the city, including Zohri Bazar, Chaura Rasta and others, wore a festive look with people purchasing sweets, cloths, decorative items and firecrackers.
Special decoration arrangements have been also made in other markets across the state, visited by the people in large numbers.
ADG (Law and Order) N R K Reddy said elaborate security arrangements were put in place across the state.
The officers are present in the field and deployment has been made in sensitive areas and crowded places to maintain law and order, he said.
