A pregnant patient with pain in abdomen had come to the Gynaecology Department at 1.30 am. She developed some respiratory problem and started gasping. Despite doctors giving possible appropriate treatment her condition deteriorated and she lated collapsed, a senior resident doctor claimed.
"The relatives and attendants of the deceased then started abusing the staff and doctors. They threw chairs and few bottles of normal saline on us," the doctor alleged.
"There was some mishandling with the nursing orderly and other hospital staff last night, " he alleged.
