"Two Jammu-bound flight were delayed by several hours. The first flight which was supposed to land at Jammu airport at 9 am landed at around 11:45 am. The second one that was supposed to land at 10:45 am landed at 12 pm," Airport Manager Jammu Airport Mukesh Kumar said.
He said the disruption happened due to poor visibility at the airport after dense fog engulfed the region early morning. "Air traffic has become normal here after the visibility improved as the weather improved later in the afternoon," he said.
Meanwhile, almost all the trains coming to Jammu have been delayed by several hours due to the fog in the region, an official at the Jammu railway station said.
