"Fogging is being carried out in every ward of the city with the help of six large fogging machines on a regular basis and 54,018 buildings have been sanitised by volunteers drawn from different fields including NCC, Safai karamcharis and Asha Karyakatris.
"It has led to a major difference with 781 dengue patients out of a total of 834 reported so far already cured of the disease and a drop in the number of cases being reported daily," Health Secretary Om Prakash said.
The official said an elaborate plan involving district administration, Nagar Nigam, health department, civil defence and the Red Cross had been chalked by the CM to rein in the disease in Uttarakhand.
