Dry weather in UP, Muzaffarnagar coldest at 4.2 deg C

The weather was dry in most parts of Uttar Pradesh on Friday with dense fog at isolated places, the meteorological department said.

Temperature was below normal in Moradabad, Kanpur, Jhansi, Agra and Meerut divisions, it said.

Muzaffarnagar was the coldest place in the state at 4.2 degrees Celsius, while Etawah recorded the highest temperature at 24.8 degrees Celsius, the Met department said.

Dense fog is very likely at isolated places over the state on Saturday, it said.
