NSUI, the student wing of the Congress, has alleged that the election result was rigged. The outfit had also alleged that during voting in some colleges there was problem with the electronic voting machines.
"We had a meeting with the grievance redressal committee today. They agreed to our demands and for the first time the room hosting the EVM machines has been sealed. The panel has also agreed to show us the recordings of the counting process as well as machine wise votes secured by each candidate will be furnished," aid Angelica Aribam, NSUI National Secretary.
NSUI has won the joint secretary position in DUSU making a come back in the university's union after two years. The other three posts were won by RSS' student wing ABVP.
