Polling personnel in all the constituencies were on the move to their place of duty along with EVMs and other materials, OSD in the Chief Electoral Officer's office, Amit Roy Chowdhury said here today.
There would be general observers, expenditure observers, police observers and micro-observers, while arrangements were made for webcasting and live monitoring of sensitive areas, Roy Chowdhury said.
Arambagh constituency had the highest number of polling stations (2,053) and Uluberia the lowest (1,788).
Altogether 87 candidates, including 13 women, were in the fray.
