Hashmi has essayed the role of the former Indian skipper in the biographical sports film "Azhar".
Prachi Desai plays Azharuddin's first wife, who felt betrayed on being passed over for his second wife Bijlani, an actress-model, played by Nargis.
The trailer shows sizzling chemistry between Emraan and Nargis.
When asked about it, Azharuddin says, "Emraan shares sizzling chemistry with everybody. There is nothing new about it...Ask me something new. With Emraan Hashmi you expect that (kissing scene). If that (kissing scene) not there then people get disappointed."
The 53-year-old cricketer-turned-politician, who burst onto international scene in mid 1980s when he hit three consecutive centuries in as many Tests, was one of the most successful but controversial captains to lead Team India.
"I speak to everyone before taking a decision. I never take decisions alone as it is difficult. Like in 1993 Hero Cup, in one of the matches, we as a team, decided that Sachin Tendulkar should bowl," Azharuddin said, when asked if he had spoken to Bijlani before giving consent for the biopic.
'Azhar' is scheduled to release on May 13.
