"The real solution to everything is a majority government to the BJP in the state. The people of Gujarat have been giving it there. And now I appeal to you to repeat it in Jharkhand too," Chief Minister Arjun Munda said at a party rally in Ramgarh district.
Munda heads a coalition government supported by JMM, Ajsu party and Janata Dal (U).
He said several challenges were ahead for BJP workers ahead of the 2014 Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the face of crucial issues and "the country requires a new leadership to address them".
Addressing the rally, former External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha said, "No compromise with corruption' would be BJP's slogan in Jharkhand in the run up to 2014 elections."
"We will not compromise on corruption. I will decide a fresh date to take out a yatra to study the ground realities in the state in order to find solutions to them," he said.
