Baijal, who held a review meeting with the officials of DDA at its headquarters, directed its IT wing to come out with a clear, implementable blueprint for all services on a digital platform within a month so that there is minimal human interface and maximum governance through the use of technology.
"Directed DDA to work on redressing public grievances online(sic)," the LG tweeted after the meeting.
The Lt Governor, who is also the DDA Chairman, reviewed the status of implementation of the Master Plan of Delhi-2021 and provision of the utilities/services keeping in view the increase in population and deficit in infrastructure.
He also asked the Horticulture and Landscape wings to work on increasing the green cover in Delhi through proper interventions.
On the issue of maintenance of existing commercial complexes, he observed that a suitable robust mechanism in consultation with local bodies will be worked out for their regular upkeep.
While appreciating the various sports infrastructures built by DDA and the Biodiversity Parks, he insisted that awareness must be spread about the usage of these facilities and their quality must be maintained.
