The "Lost River" actress frustrated road users and nearly caused an accident when she drove her car the wrong way on one of the city's one-way streets, reported Ace Showbiz.
Mendes, 41, was pictured driving her Ford Escape SUV alone. She turned the wrong direction on North Bedford Drive, a one-way street near Rodeo, seemingly after failing to notice two large signs that read "Do Not Enter" put at each end of the road.
People repeatedly shouted "wrong way" to her, while one angry driver honked his horn. After learning of her error, Mendes quickly headed to a parking area. She even almost crashed into a car as she attempted to pull a U-turn in the middle of the road.
