Explosive-laden container found
Local tribal villagers spotted the container lying in the jungle and informed the police, SDPO Jhargram Santosh Mondal said.
A team of police and CRPF personnel later seized the container. They suspect that the explosive material was left there by Maoist guerrillas as the area was a stronghold of the rebels.
Recently, a cache of explosive material and arms were found buried at nearby Andharisole village.
