"I am making an action-comedy with a strong social content. It is not a mindless caper," Ashish told PTI, without divulging more details.
'Khiladi 786', starring Akshay Kumar and Asin did good business at the Box Office.
On the upcoming venture, Ashish said the film will have a young cast though not newcomers.
"The film won't have newcomers but young cast. I would give casting a whole new approach by experimenting with it," he said.
If all goes well, the film will go on floors in December.
When asked if the biopic project on notorious gangster Babloo Srivastava has been shelved, Ashish replied in affirmative, saying, "Yes, until I am convinced with the script".
Srivastava, a former aide of fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, had expressed his desire to cast actors Abhishek Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi to portray him on screen.
