Jogender Kumar was shot dead yesterday allegedly by his three sons-in-laws, who were demanding Kumar's land which he had transferred to his nephew, Superintendent of Police (Crime) Rakesh Kumar said today.
A case of murder has been registered against the trio, identified as Nishu, Sanjiv and Lokender, he said.
Meanwhile, two bodies were found at separate places in the district, police said.
While one body was recovered in Tejalhera village, another one was found in Panchenda village. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, police said, adding that investigations have begun.
