Chairperson of the Chapter Padma R lauded Sindhu's efforts with lifetime membership of the organisation.
"She is the pride of Telugus. She is an inspiration to many of us and her achievement is the rare feat by any Telugu girl," she said in a statement here.
"Our Telugu daughter has brought glory to the country. We are all proud of her achievement. We will organise a grand programme to felicitate her. FLO Hyderabad is proud to have Sindhu as our life member," she added.
FLO, a division of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), is the all India body for the women.
