The company had posted a net profit of Rs 72.06 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
The total income from operations grew 6.23 per cent to Rs 672.86 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 633.38 crore in the same period a year ago, Finolex Industries said in a BSE filing.
Shares of Finolex Industries were trading at Rs 480, up 1.18 per cent in the afternoon trade on BSE.
