Congress president of the local unit, Omkar Singh complained that books titled 'Rahul ki Ravan Leela' containing objectionable and derogatory material against the Gandhis were being distributed in villages of the constitency and demanded stern action against those responsible, police sources said.
Taking note of the complaint, the DM ordered for lodging of an FIR at Civil Lines police station besides an inquiry by SDM in this connection.
The email ID mentioned in the book has also been blocked and people responsble for it have been warned, police said.
