Fire at biscuit unit

biscuit unit at Sukhchar in North 24 Parganas district today.

Ten fire tenders put off the flames in over three hours time, fire brigade sources said tonight.

The flames originated in the packet biscuit oil and other materials section and spread in the 400/100 ft area.

The biscuit unit owners estmated the loss around several crores.

There was no report of any injury or casualty.
