"It was not a major fire and was immediately controlled. No major loss was caused," the railway police officials said.
"The fire erupted in a coach that was to be transported to Srinagar. It was kept in the rail yard and since the entire coach could not be accommodated on the transport vehicle it was being dismantled. The fiber of the coach caught fire due to overheating," they added.
Last Sunday three coaches of Shalimar Express and two coaches of Jammu Tawi-Ahmedabad Express were gutted down at the Jammu Tawi railway station.
The team has questioned the arrested suspect, Ajay Kumar, a resident of Nangloi in New Delhi and investigations were on to ascertain the cause of fire.
