Five youths rescued from river

Five youths including a minor, who were trapped in a river, were rescued today by three villagers under Potka block of East Singhbhum district, police said.
The youths went to river Gurra under Jadugora police station for fishing when they got trapped in the water.
The river was swollen trapping all of them, after which three villagers rescued them following an alarm raised by passersbys, sub-divisional Officer (Dalbhum), Prem Ranjan said.
