Acting on a tip-off, a team of City Task Force (CTF) led by ACP I Chittibabu raided an independent house in PM Palem area, from where the racket was being operated, and arrested four persons, where were allegedly managing the illegal activity.
Three of them - Ruma Khan (34), Idris Ali (35) and Al Amim Sheikh (36)- hail from West Bengal and were engaged in luring girls from interior parts of the eastern State and forcing them into flesh trade in the city. Their local contact was identified only as Manohar, the fourth accused who is a resident of PM Palem, police said.
The rescued girls said they had known Ruma Khan since a long time and were brought to Visakhapatnam on the pretext of sightseeing.
