In a statement on the concluding day of its 3-day National Workshop here, the Forward Bloc said the Government should also take steps to declassify all the files related to Netaji, INA and Azad Hind Government.
The party also demanded that the Union government accept the M K Mukherjee Commission report, which enquired into the disappearance of Netaji and claimed that the freedom fighter did not die in alleged plane crash in 1945.
A host of programmes and campaigns planned to be launched by Forward Bloc were announced by party General Secretary and former MP Debabrata Biswas at the end of the three days National workshop.
The Workshop also resolved to launch a nationwide campaign to "Save India-Change India" as Forward Bloc claimed that democracy and secular fabric of the nation are under serious threat under the BJP-led NDA Government.
The party will mobilise workers, peasants, youth, students, women and the marginalised people to wage a relentless mass action across the country from August 15 to December 31, 2017 as part of the campaign, the statement said.
The year 2018 will be the 75th anniversary of Azad Hind Sarkar established by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in Singapore in 1943. The Forward Bloc will celebrate its Platinum Jubilee throughout the year. The campaign will start from October 21, 2018 and culminate on October 21, 2019.
The statement further said that Forward Bloc will launch a nationwide movement to protect democracy, sovereignty, secularism and socialist character of the constitution from August 15 to December 31, 2017.
