Four fishermen arrested by Sri Lankan naval personnel

Four fishermen from Tamil Nadu have been arrested by Sri Lankan naval personnel while fishing off this coastal town, a top fisheries department official said.
The fishermen from Jagadapattinam in the district had put out to sea last night and did not return today.
Some other fishermen who came back told officials that the four were arrested by Lankan naval personnel and taken to Talaimannar in the island nation, Sekar, Assistant Director of Fisheries in the district, said.
