Four injured as molten aluminium leaks in smelter plant

Four workers were injured after molten aluminium leaked from a pot at the smelter plant of a private unit at Hirakud here this afternoon, the police said.
The mishap took place when the pot was being isolated for maintenance work and molten aluminium leaked and splashed injuring four workers present at the site, the police and factory sources said.
While two of the injured persons were provided treatment here, two others were shifted to a hospital at Bhubaneswar, they said.
