Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Pawan Kotwal today chaired a joint meeting of army authorities and civil administration to discuss the various issues related to land and encroachments.
The issues discussed included promulgation of gazette notification under work of Defence Act 1903, pending acquisition and de-requisition of land cases, pending compensation cases, and re-notification of FD firing ranges.
Regarding the issue of promulgation of gazette notification under work of Defence Act 1903, Divisional Commissioner directed the Deputy Commissioners to issue notifications accordingly.
