Freight raters for select destinations up

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for Ludhiana and Indore improved up to Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following a pick up in cargo movements.
Transporters said tight trucks position against increased cargo movements for Indore and Ludhiana mainly pushed up freight rates.
Delhi to Indore freight rates rose by Rs 1,000 to Rs 25,000.
Ludhiana freights also moved up by Rs 500 to Rs 23,000.
